Eric A. Kensicki

Eric Kensicki has over 8 years experience in the mortgage banking industry. His primary focus has been government backed mortgage financing (FHA/VA/USDA) with low or no money down options. He has closed hundreds of these types of loans throughout his career. Today, he uses this knowledge and expertise to educate consumers and assist them in obtaining these types of loans.

"Government backed mortgages offer safe, affordable loan options to borrowers with all types of credit history. A borrower need not have perfect credit history or a large down payment to qualify for a government -backed loan. A majority of the population will experience major or minor credit issues at some point in their lifetime, often due to reasons beyond their control. With a government-insured mortgage, an underwriter will look at the big picture, taking into account the reasons for your derogatory credit, rather than just looking at your FICO score alone. With a little bit of credit advice, even those with a blemished credit history can quickly position themselves to be eligible for a government backed loan. Personally, I take great pride in helping consumers avoid high interest rate loans in favor of these safe, low rate government insured mortgages."

While many banks have recently eliminated their 100% financing programs, Eric has an understanding of how important it is for these programs to remain available, particularly for first time buyers. Eric continually researches the market for the best No Money Down loan programs, down payment assistance companies, gift programs, and government backed loans and grants that help make homeownership a possibility for so many people.

"In today's economy, it's just not always feasible for a family or individual to save a large amount of money for a down payment on a home. It's a fact that high rates of homeownership correlate directly with strong, stable, and safe communities for the families that reside there. It is critical that good loan programs remain available for creditworthy borrowers that don't have the means to save for a down payment. It is extremely rewarding to know that we can help these families and have a positive impact on the neighborhoods in which they reside."
